It took me a while to try this clay pomade because I honestly was not sure I would like it, but I wish I had tried it sooner because it is great! I have long, thick hair that tends to be frizzy. I often wear it in a ponytail, but I end up with a lot of frizzy fly-aways. I usually use a hair wax stick to smooth those down, but it ends up leaving my hair feeling a little sticky and I have to wash my hair after using it. This pomade achieves the same smoothing of my fly-aways without the stickiness! It has no scent, which is great. I just put a little bit on my finger, and then I use it to smooth the fly-aways. This dries quickly and has no shine. It looks like I've used no products, but it is very effective at holding down the fly-aways as if they were never there. The best part is I can brush my hair like normal after using this and there are no flakes or product visible. I used it two days in a row without washing in between, and it worked perfectly both times. I used so little product that this will last a long time. This is a keeper!

This clay pomade from Casa di Canio is easy to scoop out and work into my hair. It works well! It has a strong hold and looks natural – not lacquered, and it doesn’t feel greasy at all. It adds volume/thickness and it washes out easily. It’s unscented, i.e. no artificial scent is added, but it does have a very subtle, pleasant-enough scent that quickly dissipates. The container has cool graphics, and it has an inner plastic lid to keep it fresh. It contains natural ingredients including castor oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax. The price point is competitively priced with similar items and a little goes a long way.

I recently cut my hair short, very very short. Like I go to a barber now short. I was having a hard time finding the right styling product since my hair had been half way down my back and my needs had changed.The hold on this product is good enough that my hubby and I both use it! You can really customize how much hold you get by changing the wetness of your hair when you apply it along with the amount of product. The smell is pretty faint, but pleasant, faint enough that after your hair dries all the way you won’t smell it again.

But once blended in, it completely disappears. I don’t see any residue or discoloration at all. My hair stays smooth, and I can still run a brush through it easily, which really surprised me because the clay looks like it would be stiff, but it’s not.The instructions recommend warming a small amount between your fingertips before applying, and that works very well. I also tried it near my roots and didn’t experience any heaviness or that thick, gel-like feeling. It feels natural and lightweight in the hair.It comes in a plastic jar with clear directions on the back, and I really like that it’s sulfate-free as well. Overall, I’m very impressed with this Terra clay, it smooths, controls flyaways, and keeps my hair looking polished without buildup.

This styling clay was a pleasant surprise. For the last couple years I’ve been using the Crew Defining Paste. I liked this because it was the closest I could find to a Shiseido Uno “Fiber Neo” Ultra Solid which I had probably used for at least a decade until they revamped their wax line and I had trouble sourcing or finding a current equivalent. The Crew didn’t hold quite as well over the day, but had a similar consistency, was easy to style with a matte finish. I’d often add a touch of hair spray at the end to ensure it holds.In comes the Casa Di Canio. As soon as I opened it, I was sure I wasn’t going to like it because it looks like a wet product, even more so when I scooped some out with my fingers, however as soon as I ran it through my hair the it absorbed quickly with a matte finish and very strong hold. In fact, I found that I need to work it in and style very quickly as it firms up quickly. Turns out I really like it. I don’t have to add any hairspray finish for extra hold as it keeps its styling throughout the day.I’ll also add that there is no overwhelming smell and it washes out very easily. Pretty great stuff and I think this may be my new go to.Lastly, the ad description states this is a medium hold product, but the product container itself states it is “strong hold.”I agree with strong hold as it’s much stronger than the Crew I have on hand which is self described as medium.

Very good clay, so much so, you'll need to dilute it before applying it to your hair (unless your hair is sopping wet, normally, you prep your hair to damp.) When I first used it, I used it raw, straight from the tub (mixing it in my hand) on damp hair and it left clay everywhere. I then washed my hair and tried again, this time, along with damp hair, I took a small finger scoop out and mixed it with water until it was uniformly muddy, then it went on as expected and provided a similar hold I used in other products and looks great. My suggestion, start with the least amount and dilute it with water to a muddy consistency on damp hair and adjust accordingly to what works for you.

I like this styling clay as it works well for my slick back style haircut. I can add texture to my hair and it holds well the more you use. It works better on dry clean hair because water dissolves the product, It washes off very easily which was my favorite part and it smells good. Great for modern hairstyles!

The consistency is exactly what I would expect from a product calling itself a “clay.” It was easy to work in and provided a good amount of hold to get a good style going - especially on shorter hair.Nice hold but still lightweight enough that it doesn’t feel like your hair is coated in product. Washed out easily and didn’t seem to strip my hair or gave any other effects on it - my hair was just as soft after using it as before.One of the major pluses is that I don’t really detect much of a scent at all. So many hair products use scents that interfere with any other scent you’re trying to wear and this one didn’t do that.

I ordered this styling clay for styling my kiddo’s hair. It works well and has good hold while not looking greasy, hard, flaky, or too slick. I appreciate this have no fragrance and it only smells like the ingredients they use, like clay. Its water based so it's easy to glide and apply. Also since its water based it washed out easy without left stickiness or any residue. This we easy to use for a nice sleek back look or defining curls.

I haven't really used many of these products in the past, so I don't have enough information to say if the current price point of $17.98 is fair for the amount you receive. However, it has probably saved me at least that much in annoyance from flyaways so far, so give it a try.

Casa Di Canio. I bought this hair product two weeks ago, and I’m super happy. I have greasy hair, and it has been very hard to control. The cream has no smell. I use it right after I take a shower and just dry my hair with a towel. Casa Di Canio made my hair look nice, clean, and natural. Strongly recommend.
