It took me a while to try this clay pomade because I honestly was not sure I would like it, but I wish I had tried it sooner because it is great! I have long, thick hair that tends to be frizzy. I often wear it in a ponytail, but I end up with a lot of frizzy fly-aways. I usually use a hair wax stick to smooth those down, but it ends up leaving my hair feeling a little sticky and I have to wash my hair after using it. This pomade achieves the same smoothing of my fly-aways without the stickiness! It has no scent, which is great. I just put a little bit on my finger, and then I use it to smooth the fly-aways. This dries quickly and has no shine. It looks like I've used no products, but it is very effective at holding down the fly-aways as if they were never there. The best part is I can brush my hair like normal after using this and there are no flakes or product visible. I used it two days in a row without washing in between, and it worked perfectly both times. I used so little product that this will last a long time. This is a keeper!

My wife saw this on TikTok saying it smelled so good. It does not smell. I hate when she has in stiff hair product and her hair touches me and feels like a greasey straw broom. This does not feel like that, it’s still pretty soft and I can play with it but not too greasy. She can have it in her hair for days, forget about it and restyle it AND have it still hold the style. It also washes out pretty easy and doesn’t leave pillows all sticky. Wife approved.

This clay pomade from Casa di Canio is easy to scoop out and work into my hair. It works well! It has a strong hold and looks natural – not lacquered, and it doesn’t feel greasy at all. It adds volume/thickness and it washes out easily. It’s unscented, i.e. no artificial scent is added, but it does have a very subtle, pleasant-enough scent that quickly dissipates. The container has cool graphics, and it has an inner plastic lid to keep it fresh. It contains natural ingredients including castor oil, beeswax, and carnauba wax. The price point is competitively priced with similar items and a little goes a long way.
